What is the most a laptop should weigh if I want to take it to the college library to work? whats too heavy?

Im going to college and you want a laptop that I can work in my room, but also to the library and rooms for other people to work on my schoolwork. would be 7. 5 pounds too heavy to do it regularly? 8 pounds? Thank you.

    I would say anything over 7 could be tough to carry, though it depends how far. Also, if you use a backpack to carry it the weight won’t be too much of a problem.

    I think that’s about right. dont get one with a huge screen. i think about 16 inches should b ok. it’ll be horrible on ur back or arms when u take it to the library if it’s too large.

    im not sure. but if its too heavy for you to carry around on campus then you might want a lighter weight one.

    it really depends on your strength try picking up different weights and seeing if you would be comfortable to carry around

    I think it should way about 5 pounds or less if you can find one that ways 5 pounds

    Select a backpack instead of a carry bag, it helps a lot. I’ve lugged 3kg+ Acers and they’re actually not bad if you have a backpack.

    Consider that you may also need to carry textbooks and assignments around though — you can’t wear 2 backpacks comfortably. A large laptop backpack *may* have enough room to accomodate a textbook or two, but at that point it will be fairly hefty.
