Hannah Wright, Assistant Circulation Supervisor Lindenwood University mini-documentary by Lani Barcelona Artist Statement: “I knew that I wanted to focus on my experiences as a library work and learn student. I knew that my video had to have some sort of focus or it would be a disaster. I decided to focus on my supervisor Hannah who was a former work and learn student and now works full time as a librarian. The day I was going to shoot, I had all of my equipment and before Hannah arrived to work, another librarian came up from the basement to the circulation desk. She told us that there was a fire and we had to get the patrons and ourselves out of the library. The first thought that came into my head was, “Oh no, now I’ll never get this video done.” Luckily the fire was small and I got the video footage I needed. The hardest part of shooting in the library was getting the light to look right and I feel like it still could have used some work.”
